Nc'Nean 'North Star' 2018 / 6 years old 59.1%

This is the first example we have seen of an independently bottled Nc'Nean, selected by North Star Spirits of Glasgow. This single ex-STR (shaved, toasted re-charr) red wine barrique offers a vibrant flavour of over-ripe bananas and marzipan, with barley sugars and birthday cake icing. A note of salted cashew comes through in the long and surprisingly savoury finish.
