In an exciting first for us, we have a single malt from Sakurao distillery, situated in the harbour of Hiroshima, Japan. Bottled by Berry Bro's. & Rudd of London, this single, first-fill hogshead cask has produced a whisky of bright and clean aromas of crisp apples, juicy white peaches and sun ripened strawberries. On the palate, hints of flaked almonds, creamed butter and gentle spice with a long finish of more soft fruits.
