Occasionally, Berry Bros. & Rudd come across a cask of whisky that they are unable to disclose the distillery of origin, however we do know that this single cask came from one of the distilleries on Islay. After a period of maturation, the contents of this cask were transferred into an ex-Pedro Ximenez sherry cask, imparting a golden syrup and sticky sweet fruit richness. Char-grilled smoked meats and ashy peat embers roll in, with a unique herbal quality and a smouldering, nutmeg spiced finish.
