Tamdhu 'Xtra Old Particular' 1998 / 25 years old 51%

This expression from Tamdhu Distillery has been left to mature for 25 years in a single refil Hogshead cask before being bottled at the cask's natural strength (51%.)The nose opens up with aromas of vanilla, saw dust and juicy pineapples. On the palate there are notes of syrupy tropical fruits and barley, with candied citrus peel lingering on the finish.
