Tormore 'Legacy' 2003 / 21 years old #647 48.4%

Part of the new limited edition 'Legacy' series from Tormore distillery, this was selected from a single cask laid down from the 2003 and represents the character of the whisky produced that year. Opening with an aroma of lemon peel oils, there is a weighty character of butter pasty, sweet vanilla oak and then a delicate note of fresh meadow flowers. On the palate, this is a very creamy whisky, mouth-filling with flavours of vanilla custard, poached pears and sweet, charred oak in the finish.
