Whiskies from the 2000's

At the turn of the century, Scotch whisky was on the edge of a new era of popularity and growth, marked by events such as the re-opening of the Glengyle (Kilkerran) in Campbeltown. Two farm distilleries were also estbalished, with Daftmill in the Lowland's followed by the first distillery to be built on Islay in over 120 years, Kilchoman.
