Created from a selection of peated 12 year old single malts, MacNair's is blended together by famed master blender Billy Walker. At 12 years old the peat smoke is more mellow, sweet with butterscotch and mocha (coffee/chocolate) notes. To taste, the peaty flavours are deep, with heather and bog myrtle, butterscotch toffee and sweet woody spice.
Named after an afflication suffered by distillery works of old who turned barley by hand, Monkey Shoulder is a blend of just 3 single malt whiskies - Glenfiddich, Balvenie and Kininvie. Warm spicy and toasted oak notes lead into a sweet vanilla'd aroma. The flavour is of creamy custard, a hint of dried fruit and cooked banana and honey with toasted spices lingering in the finish.
Flaming Feast is a blended malt from Wemyss Malts and is blend of North Highland and Highland island single malts. With notes of sweetness and maritime smoke there is also notes gentle spice. Limited to only 6000 bottles.
This blended malt whisky has notes of creamy vanilla, sweet peat with a hint of iodine. The palate has big notes of smoke with a spicy sweetness. Ginger, lemon, and honey are also found. The finish is long and drying with smoke.
