Ardnamurchan 'North Star' 2019 / 6 years old 52.7%

Selected from a single first-fill ex-Oloroso sherry butt, this 2019 distilled Ardnamurchan offers a very rich and dark example of the distillery, packed with dense flavours of caramel, citrus oils and kola cubes (cola flavoured candies). Bitter dark chocolate and berry compote notes flood the palate, with custard and burnt raspberry joining a final over-brewed coffee flavour behind in the finish.
