Teithmill 'Thompson Bros' 2014 / 11 years old 54.1%

Teithmill is a name used for the Deanston distillery, the site of a former cotton mill which drew power from the River Teith. This bottling from Thompson Bros has been matured for eleven years in a Refill Hogshead cask, yeilding 305 bottles. The nose is bright, showing good distillate character, with notes of nougat, demerara sugar and prosecco. The palate opens up with sweet biscuity notes, joined with more nougat, followed by green notes of nettles, jalapenos and green capsicum, lingering with delicate spice.
