Benromach 'Virgin Oak Air Dried 2012' 46%

Produced as part of a pair of expressions from the Benromach distillery, this whisky has been matured exclusively in virgin oak barrels where the staves were entirely air dried. To taste, sweet vanilla fudge is joined by mixed citrus, toasted cereal and and fresh mint. A crack of black pepper joins a lingering hint of smoke.
