The nose greets you with notes of rich stewed fruits and hints of tanned leather, showing clear cask influence. The palate offers up notes of dried figs and lashings of black pepper with rich toffee and sturdy oak notes. The finish is lingering with dry spicy notes and hints of tobacco leaf.
