Distilled in 1957 at the Glen Grant distillery in Rothes, Speyside, this very special whisky comes from Gordon & MacPhail, the world's foremost experts in selecting and bottling old whiskies. Hand-selected from a single cask, this sherry butt has yielded a very high strength and number of bottles (298), a very rare quality in such an old whisk, indicating an extremely high-quality cask. Matured for 64 years, this is the second release in the 'Mr. George' series, celebrating the life and contributions to whisky of George Urquhart, the second generation owner of Gordon & MacPhail.
