Distilled in 2009, this Glenfarclas Family Cask continues the distillery's tradition of selecting stand-out casks from their incredible warehouses. Cask #1117 was a 500 litre ex-sherry butt, matured until the 1st of August 2024. Weighing in at 61.5%, this is a powerful example Glenfarclas, boozy and rich with decadent dried fruits and a surging spicyness that is enhanced by the high natural strength. Flambeed desserts and liquor soaked fruits come to mind, packed with flavour, oils and plenty of oak from the sherry cask.
