This expression is the Second batch from Glenwyvis' earliest vintage, distilled in 2018, and the Distillery's first major bottling. American Oak ex-Tennessee Whiskey casks, Spanish ex-Oloroso sherry Hogsheads and refill Scotch Whisky Hogsheads were chosen to create a this new single malt.
The nose is soft, sweet and rather fruit forward, with notes of sweet white grapes and thick jammy sweetness.
The palate brings out notes of sweet vanilla pudding, fizzy sherbet sweets and old fashioned pear drops.
the finish is initially rich and chocolatey, before lingering soft sweet berry notes appear.
