Kilchoman '20th Anniversary Cask Series' 14 years old ex-bourbon cask 51.2%

Released to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Kilchoman, this 14 year old was selected from just five ex-bourbon barrels,  #403, #422, #498, #750 and #800 that were laid down in 2010.

Tasting notes from Kilchoman's founder, Anthony Wills:

Nose: Soft and full-bodied with rich caramel and toffee, complemented by hints of lemon zest and subtle peat smoke.

Palate: Lush and smooth, with sweet toffee and vanilla, followed by lemon curd notes and a light, integrated peat smoke.

Finish: Long and warming, with lingering honey sweetness anda crisp, smoky citrus finish.
