Meikle Toir 'The Chinquapin One' 5 years old 48%

Meikle Toir (pronounced mee-kuhl tor) meaning 'big pursuit' in Gaelic is a range of brand new expressions of peated whisky made at the GlenAllachie distillery. This release sees virgin Chinquapin oak used as a final maturation cask, bringing together peat smoke and dense woody flavours. Smouldering peat embers and burnt liquorice tones meld with honey, ginger and orange peel, surrounding a creamy and nutty flavour.
