The nose carries coastal notes with a hint of iodine. Tropical fruit and sugarcane develop further on in the nose, hinting at the cask type.
The palate is initially dominated by citrus oils, tropical fruits, and a light salty edge, before warming, spice develops.
The finish is rather short in length and spicy. However, with a splash of water and time in the glass the finish develops length and a profound sweetness.
