This expression from Singleton has been finished in Chardonnay De Bourgogne French Oak casks,
The nose is crisp and clean, with notes of orchard fruits and green grapes. Buttery notes of puff pastry and spun honey add to the summery quality.
The palate is light, smooth and well textured. There are notes of toffee and ripe yellow fruit balances with a hint of citrus acidity and gentle warming spice.
The finish is of medium length, spicier than the initial palate. A touch of water brings out more smoothness.
