The Gauldrons is blended malt scotch whisky bottled by Douglas Laing and is a blend that has been produced to capture the heart of Campbeltown whisky. The nose starts with barley sugars and a slight saltiness and moves into a gentle smoke. The palate has a dry mouthfeel which has notes of sea air, which moves into notes of muscovado sugar, light oak and biscuit. The saltiness is carried through the finish and is rounded off with creme brulee.
