Glen Moray

This latest expression from the Glen Moray distillery has spent the final 8 months of its maturation in sherry casks from Spain which add flavours of dried fruit, toffee and cinnamon notes. The classic Glen Moray character of sweet vanilla and poached pears are still to be found, lingering on a flavour of warming oak spices. A perfect match with some rich fruitcake.

Glen Moray is a soft and very mellow Speyside malt, gently spiced with a floral, fruity (pears) and butterscotch flavour giving it a smooth and rounded character.

Selected from the Glen Moray distillery in Speyside, this new expression from Infrequent Flyers offers a pronounced dessert style. A rich influence of ex-Pedro Ximenez casks bring about the classic sherried notes - figs, sultanas, raisins and dark chocolate. For the Scots out there, this is liquid clootie dumpling!

This expression from Glen Moray distillery has spent the last 8 months of its maturation in former Chardonnay casks which creates fruity butterscotch flavours as well as a mellow toasty oak character.

Unusually for Glen Moray, this whisky has been made from peated malt. Subtle flavours of vanilla and oak merge with rich peat smoke to provide a very different side to Glen Moray. Tangy rhubarb and notes of leather are evident on the nose leading to the rich palate which is creamy and lightly spiced.
