We are proud to launch the first ever whisky from the Isle of Harris Distillery, the long-awaited The Hearach. The aroma evokes a curing smokehouse, joined by fragrant hillside heather and smoky dried prunes. A creamy sweetness, like that of creme brulee, joins crisp apple fruity tones, with a lingering sea-salt tang left on the lips. The subtle smoke returns in the finish, a beautiful whiff of a peaty fireplace slowly burning down.A remarkable achievement for all on the island, this whisky is a testament to the hard work of everyone involved and we are delighted to finally share it with New Zealand.
