The New Zealand Whisky scene continues its growth, going from just one operational distillery that closed in 1997 (Willowbank in Dunedin) to now over 10 small-scale and craft distillers. Around the country there are a number of family-run operations, and we are proud to see great growth and some distinctive styles developing in our own back yard.
