Annandale 'Man O'Swords Double Oak' 2017 #1488 60.4%

Distilled from heavily peated barley at Annandale distillery, this single cask expression has been fully matured in a double oaked ex bourbon cask, laid down in 2017 and bottled in 2023.

Medicinal smoky aromas open up on the nose, joined with sweet oak, gentle spice notes and ripe berries. On the palate there are notes of spiced oak, dark fruits, balanced with a light sweetness before giving way to wafts of warming smoke.
