Cadenhead's Enigma 'Speyside Single Malt' 16 years old 51.9%

In keeping with previous 'Enigma' releases from Cadenhead, the source of this Single Malt is undisclosed. In a first for our shelves, it has been finished in a cask type we have not seen before, Pineau des charentes barrels - a type of Cognac based fortified wine. To taste, an intriguing flavour of grape must, rye and nutty tones is joined by dark chocolate and cherries, finishing with wine tannins and stem ginger.
