Starting with 100% locally grown, traditionally floor malted barley from the Cotswolds. This new release single malt has been matured in premium first-fill ex-Bourbon barrels and STR American oak ex-red wine casks. On the nose we get light caramel, apple and vanilla with a touch of chocolate. Developing into toasted cereal with a sweet malt character on the palate. Finally ending with a lingering finish with warm notes of wood tannin.
