Distilled using both traditional stills as well as Loch Lomond's signature straight necked stills and aged for ten years exclusively in American oak ex Bourbon, refill and recharred casks. The nose is initially floral and herbal, with hints of new oak and lashings of gentle sweet spices joining in after further exploration. The accompanying palate is gentle and sweet. Notes of green apples, vanilla and gentle cinnamon spice evokes memories of homemade apple pie served with vanilla ice cream, all married together with the gentlest wisp of highland peat smoke result in a remarkably drinkable whisky.
