Benrinnes 'Soldier - Macbeth' 12 years old 53.5%

Limited to 2400 bottles, this Benrinnes was selected to portray the character of a soldier, in one of the final scenes of Shakespare's Macbeth. Awaiting the final advance on Macbeth's fortress on Dunsinane hill. 

The use of wormtub condensers results in a heavy and full spirit, while the choice of refill sherry butts reinforces the meaty quality. Hints of sweetness manage to push through the heavy spirit, alongside layers of ripe currants dried oregano and earthiness. which set the scene of a soldier trudging through Birnam Wood on his way to topple the tyrant Macbeth.
