Using a combination of peated whisky made in Loch Lomond's unique combination of straight-neck and swan-neck stills, this Highland Single Malt has a soft, fruity and sweet character woven with a gentle peatyness - a warming and mild smoke similar to that of an old fireplace or bonfire. There aren't many producers of this style in the Highland's, and it is a great example of how whisky might have been a century ago when peat was the only common heat source for the drying of malted barley.
