Double Barrel 'Islay & Highland' 46%

This expression from the Double Barrel range from Douglas Laing is a marriage of Single Malts from the Highland and Islay regions of Scotland.

There is a soft smoked characteristic on the nose, alongside notes of fresh toast and drizzly honey. The palate consists of dry ember smoke and sweet notes of malty biscuits. There is a lovely long finish, lingering with notes of roasted nuts and sweet marzipan icing.
