Firkin Whisky 'The Firkin 49' Tullibardine 48.9%

This release from Firkin Whisky Co was distilled at Tullibardine Distillery in 2012. It has been given a second maturation in their custom made double oak casks seasoned with Oloroso and Amontillado sherries. This delivers  notes of butterscotch, toffee, crisp malt and fruit cake with cinnamon and biscuit notes on the finish. Soft and nutty.
