This 2nd release of whisky from the re-opened Glenglassaugh distillery comes from first fill American oak barrels and is bottled at 50% and without filtration. Sweet buttery vanilla mingles with caramelised pears, green apples and a hint of nutty, earthyness with a subtle hint of coastal sea-air.

Glenglassaugh Port Wood Finish 46%
This expression of Glenglassaugh has been finished in Portuguese Ruby Port casks, known as 'pipes' for their elongated shape. The Port pipes have given a fruity and spicy character to the malt. Citrus and herbal notes are noticable on the palate.
