Sagamore 'Rum Cask Finish' 49%

This is the second rum cask finished rye whiskey from Sagamore, this time seeing 5 & 6 year old straight rye whiskies matured for a final 10 months (finish) in ex-rum barrels from Jamaica and South America. The introduction of tropical notes is the first sign of this rum cask influence, with ripe banana and bright pineapple tones joining the traditional vanilla and darker, spicy tones found in their rye. An exciting twist on the classic American rye.
