Stauning distillery, established 2002, is the oldest distillery in the Kingdom of Denmark. This expression from BBR has been distilled using locally-sourced rye grain and finished in a moscatel cask, bringing forward a wonderful nose of berry jam, spiced rye bread, tobacco and leather. The layered palate begins with Christmas pudding, liquorice and a peppery spice, before developing into a sweet combination of toffee and fig rolls, and finishing with a balance of classic rye spice and savoury notes.
