Tamdhu distillery is a staple here at Whisky Galore, however it's not a brand we see particularly often independently bottled.  This expression, bottled by Douglas Laing and co has been bottled from a single refill Hogshead cask, resulting in a much lighter profile than we would usually see from this distillery.  the nose is light and creamy, with an abundance of vanilla pods, toasted, spiced oak and lashings of citrus and cereal. The palate is rich creamy and desserty with notes of creme caramel, butterscotch sweets and spiced apple pie with creamy vanilla ice cream. the finish is long and rather sweet, with notes of freshly picked strawberries, shredded coconut and sweet malty biscuits.
