Ban Poitin is a traditional Irish Poitin (pronounced potcheen) made at the Echlinville distillery in Ulster, Northern Ireland. Made from locally sourced potatoes, sugar beet and matled barley, this is as close as you'll likely get to the illicit drink that was infamously banned in 1661.
